Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground sirloin beef

  • 1 packet onion soup mix

  • 2 red tomatoes

  • 1 red onion

  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar

  • 5 slices of Gouda cheese

  • 1 cup mayo

  • 1 lime

  • 1/2 cup cilantro

  • 6 garlic cloves

  • 3 tablespoons salt

  • 1 tablespoon accent seasoning

  • 1 tablespoon chile and lime seasoning

  • 2 tablespoons black pepper

  • 1 cup parmesan cheese

  • 1 1/2 cups of lettuce

  • 1 cup of crispy fried onions

Directions

  • Mix ground beef, onion soup, salt, pepper, and accent seasoning in a bowl or container.
  • Roll meat into six balls and press each into a round hamburger patty.
  • Place the hamburger patties on a heated grill.
  • While the hamburgers are grilling, slice the red onion and tomatoes and place the slices into a bowl or container.
  • Add the apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of pepper to the onions and tomatoes, then mix and let marinate.
  • Chop the lime in half, chop the garlic cloves, and chop the cilantro.
  • In a separate bowl, add the mayo, chopped cilantro, chopped garlic, accent seasoning, chile/lime seasoning, 1 tablespoon of salt, 1 tablespoon of pepper, and parmesan cheese. Then squeeze the lime juice into the bowl and mix all ingredients.
  • Add the gouda cheese to the hamburger patties and assemble the burgers when the cheese is melted.
  • To assemble the Southwest Florida Hamburgers: spread the lettuce mixture on the bottom bun. Place the hamburger patty on top of the lettuce mixture and top the patty with a pickle, marinated onions, red tomatoes, crispy fried onions, and a top bun.
  • Service hot and enjoy
